Featured Designer: Anna Uhras

It's Friday and Anna is back to share her craft space with us!

Hi there everyone!

I'm back again today to share my not so fancy, but MY OWN, scrappy room, and I love it.
(Even if I honestly dream of a white, clean , airy and just awesome craft room, but yet I have my own room.)
This is a brand new experience for me to have a whole room on my own as I until now have shared my craft space with our bedroom.
I don't have any perfect organization, but it works. Please come on over and see!

Week 214: BEACH

It's time for a new cue word!  Summer will soon be coming to an end in some parts of the world and we'll be wishing for a beach to sit on somewhere, somehow.  Let's give summer a final wave (pun intended) by brainstorming in honor of all those days filled with sun, water, sand and relaxation!

As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:

  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)

Cindy B Designs is returning as our sponsor and offering this week's winner a $25 PayPal gift certificate!

Let's take a look at what the design team and this week's guest designer created for inspiration!

One focal image + lots of white space = classic CAS

design defined:
Simple shapes help keep a design CAS.

Joyce
design defined:
Use only 1/3 of a cover plate die, to leave 2/3 white space.

Judy
design defined:
Use a section of a larger stamp to keep your design CAS.

Kymona
 design defined:
Using your stamps to create motion keeps your design CAS!

Melissa
design defined:
Monochromatic color schemes are great for CAS design!

Sherrie

design defined:
Keeping ink blending to a third of the card preserves white space.

Tracey
  design defined:
One single image in one corner of the card base allows for lots of white space.

Go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the challenge blog by Monday at NOON (CDT)!
