It's time for a new cue word! Who or what do you think of when you see this word?
"No true hero ever believes that they are one." - Neal Shusterman
As always, remember the following
CAS guidelines when creating your design:
- One main image
- Lots of open space, uncluttered
- Limited layers & embellishments
- Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)
Avery Elle is returning as our sponsor and is offering this week's winner a
$20 gift certificate to their online store! Did you know they have
12 new stamp sets and 15 new dies being released this
Thursday, February 9?! They're having a designer blog hop that day and you won't want to miss it! You can keep up with the new release and hop on
their blog as well as on
Facebook!
Let's take a look at what the design team and this week's guest designer created for inspiration!

Jacquie
design defined:
White space doesn't have to be white.
Janet

By keeping bigger stamps in a softer colour, they do not overpower the white space.
Jen

A little bit of patterned paper goes a long way on a CAS card.
Joyce

Tone on tone stamping adds interest to a background without being overly distracting.
One layer cards with one main image keep it CAS.
Kymona
