Happy New Year! Fresh starts. Fresh inspiration. Let's start off 2019 with a fresh cue word too!
As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:
- One main image
- Lots of open space, uncluttered
- Limited layers & embellishments
- Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)
Let's see what the design team and this week's guest designer created for inspiration!
Guest Designer: Ishani

A centered focal point keeps a design CAS.

Cluster images, inking and sentiment in one corner.
design defined:
Confine your design to one third of the card front.
Janet

You can use small amounts of patterned paper and still keep it CAS.
A bit of colour behind a white image really makes it pop.
Layer your sentiment over your images to preserve white space.
Karen

Touches of color help highlight the sentiment.
Melissa
design defined:
Add a touch of sparkle to simple images to create interest.
