Week 345: CALM

It's time to create a little calm as we head into summer!

**Please note:  As we head into summer, challenges will now be two weeks long to give everyone a little extra time to join in the fun!

As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:

  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)
Let's take a look at what the design team and our guest designer created for inspiration!

Guest Designer:  Shona
design defined:
A central image leaves plenty of room for white space.

design defined:
Off set the image to maximize white space

design defined:
Kraft cardstock is a great neutral base for CAS cards.

design defined:
A shaped panel adds interest to a CAS design.

Janet
design defined:
Group your elements to preserve white space.

Jen
design defined:
Repeating an image in the same colour keeps things CAS.

design defined:
One focal point centered in the top third of the card is classic CAS design.

Karen
design defined:
Let the sentiment take the focus.

Rachel
design defined:
Sometimes all you need is a beautiful stamp!

Sue
design defined:
Cluster your image and greeting to a small space.

Go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the CASology blog by Monday, June 17, at 9:00 a.m. (CDT)!
