Week 349: GRILL

Whether you're heading to the backyard, driving somewhere or have other ideas, we're curious to see where this cue takes you!

**Please note:  Challenges are now two weeks long to give everyone more time to play along!

As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:

  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)
Let's take a look at what the design team and our guest designer created for inspiration!

Guest Designer:  Deepti A.
design defined:
A one-layer, simple color scheme on one third of a design leaves plenty of white space.

Deidre
design defined:
Use ombre in odd numbers for a CAS design!

design defined:
Adding just one color helps keep the design CAS.

Jen
design defined:
Repeating one image keeps a CAS design streamlined.

Joyce
design defined:
Create a pattern with your sentiment in a variety of colors.

Karen
design defined:
Leave lots of white space.

Milka
design defined:
Adding dimension gives CAS card special interest.

Nancy
design defined:
An offset border adds interest to an other wise plain card.

Sue
design defined:
One layer cards are perfect for CAS design!

Go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the CASology blog by Monday, August 19, at 9:00 a.m. (CDT)!
