Week 244: STRONG

It's time for a new cue word!  How about one with strength?  We all need a little extra strength sometimes, don't we, whether it's physical or emotional?!  Maybe this word will make you think of specific living or non-living things!

As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:
  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)
Kitty Bee Designs is returning as our wonderful sponsor and this week's winner will receive one free (non-colored) digital image of their choice from the online store!

Let's take a look at what the design team and guest designer created to inspire for this week's cue!

Guest Designer:  Sarah

Bright colours really pop against crisp white space.

 Deidre

design defined:
Reducing the width of the front panel can add dimension to a CAS card.

design defined:
A sentiment can be the focal point of a CAS card.

Janet
design defined:
If you have a bold sentiment all you need a couple of colourful images.

Jen
design defined:
White space doesn't have to be white.

design defined:
A very simple color scheme works well for a CAS card.

design defined:
Printing digital images directly onto your card keeps your one layer design CAS.

Kymona
design defined:
Cutting out digital images can keep your card CAS!

Melissa

design defined:
Clean fonts go well with clean & simple designs.

Rachel
design defined:
Use a frame to contain your image and keep your card CAS.

design defined:
Group images along one side of the card to preserve white space.

Go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the challenge blog by Monday at NOON (CDT)!
