Week 302: SQUIGGLE

It's time for a new cue word and we're going to squiggle it a little bit!

As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:
  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)
Let's take a look at what the design team created for inspiration!

design defined:
Use "watercolor stamping" to make interest to your CAS design.

design defined:
Add interest with a stripe of color on the side.

Deidre

Don't be afraid to set your sentiment on an angle.

design defined:
White space doesn't have to be white.

design defined:
Pop your elements to add interest and dimension.

Jen

Black and white plus one colour keeps things CAS.

design defined:
To preserve white space, put your sentiment right on top of your focal point.
design defined:
Locate images/sentiments in sweet spots (rule of thirds).

design defined:
Utilizing the edge of your design leaves space for your sentiment.

Melissa

Monochromatic color schemes work very well in CAS design!

Rachel

Go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the CASology blog by Monday at 9:00 a.m. (CDT)!
