Well, hello there! After a little scheduling mishap, we're back with our next challenge! This one is perfect for all those just because type cards you may have on your "to send" list. A simple hello design works so well for a quick mailbox brightener!
As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:
- One main image
- Lots of open space, uncluttered
- Limited layers & embellishments
- Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)
Let's take a look at what the design team and our guest designer created for inspriation!
Jacquiedesign defined:
A stencil can add interest to white space.
design defined:
Cluster all your elements together in one corner.
Patterned paper can still be a part of a clean and simple design... just use a little.
design defined:
Keep image to one corner and add some gold metallic for fun!
design defined:
Cluster your images and leave plenty of white space.
Go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the CASology blog by Monday, April 26, at 9:00 a.m. (CDT)!
