Week 397: TYPE

We know what type of design we all love here at CASology.  Some of us type mush faster than others.  Many love to study their personal personality type.  Most of us know our blood type.  Is that enough to get you brainstorming for this week's cue word?  The gallery should be interesting with such a flexible word!

As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:

  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note:  It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)

Let's take a look at what the design team & our guest designer created for inspiration!

Guest Designer:  Claire
design defined:
Enamel dots are an easy way to add dimension to a CAS card and draw the eye to your main image.

design defined:
A big, bold sentiment and limited use of colours and elements makes a design look CAS.

Jacquie
design defined:
Limit your design to 1/3 of the card front to preserve white space.
design defined:
Scoring adds interest to a card without busyness.

design defined:
Stamp large elements off the side of the card.

design defined:
Think outside the box when looking at the cue words... and have fun!

design defined:
Ground dimensional images with strips of card or stamped stripes.

Go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the CASology blog by Monday, December 6, at 9:00 a.m. (CST)!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!
