Week 77: BUBBLY

The new year has arrived and here we are ticking off the first few days in January!  Some of you probably brought out some of your favorite drinks to celebrate the new year, so this week's word will make you think of those again!  For others, this week's word will take you off in entirely different directions!  Whatever the case, we can't wait to see what your creativity dreams up!

We have one of our sponsors returning this week!  Cindy Coutts is back for 2014, and she's got a fantastic prize for this week's winner (U.S. participants only):  Stampin' Up's Banner Blast stamp set as well as the corresponding Banner Punch!  Here's the thing...these haven't been released yet!  They are actually for SU's Sale-a-bration which begins January 28, but Cindy has them in her hot little hands already!  Play along this week and they could very well be yours!

Before you dig out your stash of creative goodness, let's take a quick look at what the CASology design team came up with for inspiration!  Talk about variety!  That's the beauty of the cue words!  There is no right way to go!  Let your imagination run wild each week and then just keep your final creation clean and simple!

Joyce

Cluster elements of your design together to preserve white space.

Judy
 design defined:
Pair small stamped images with larger sentiments for balance.

 Kimberly
design defined:
Balance embellishments to keep a CAS card from being top heavy and remember to have FUN!

Maureen
design defined:
Limiting stamping and embellishments to one third of your design helps keep the rest of your card clean & simple!

May

Sponge Daubers work great to create circle images on a CAS design.
Layering images in different colors can create depth and movement as well.

Meghan

Black makes great "white" space!

Now go have fun and don't forget to link up your BUBBLY creation by Sunday at 4:00 p.m. (CST)!
