Week 223: TEAM

Get your CAS team spirit on this week!  Lots of things come to mind with this cue word and you'll see a variety of interpretations from the design team!

As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:
  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)

Let's take a look at what the design team and this week's guest designer created for inspiration!

Guest Designer:  Sarah
 design defined:
Simply placing the focal image off center can add interest to a one layer card design.

Ardyth
design defined:
One-layer, white space, black and white, pop of colour. Perfectly CAS!

Deidre
design defined:
Incorporating your sentiment into your design maximizes white space.

Hannelie
design defined:
Dimension and a pop of color are useful design tricks.

Hazel
 design defined:
Turn your stamp upside down for a different take on a CAS design.

 Jacquie
design defined:
Black & white with a pop of color is a classic CAS design technique.

Jen
design defined:
Repeated images can keep designs clean.

Joyce
design defined:
If your focal image is small, place it on a smaller panel.
Judy - taking a break.

Kymona
design defined:
Following the 1/3rd rule keeps your card clean and simple!

Melissa
  design defined:
Monochromatic color schemes are perfect for CAS design!

Sherrie
design defined:
Keep color confined to one-third of the card to preserve white space.

Go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the challenge blog by Monday at NOON (CST)!
