Week 356: FAITH

We're heading into the holiday season and wanted to focus on an appropriate word.  Let's see what this cue brings to mind.

As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:
  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)

STAMPlorations is returning as our wonderful sponsor and is offering this challenge's winner $25 off their next online order!  Did you know their having their 5th Giving Thanks Blog Hop & Giveaway?  Be sure and hop along and read all about the fantastic prizes that are up for grabs!

Let's see what the design team created for inspiration this time around!

To ground and set of images, connect them to 3 sides of the paper.

Use a masked stencil to add a splash of color.

Containing your image to a smaller space helps preserve white space.

Add a bit of texture over your image and sentiment for emphasis.

design defined:
White space doesn't need to be white.

Simple white with a pop of color works well in CAS design.

design defined:
Silhouette stamps and ink blended backgrounds work great on CAS cards.

Simply decorated corners draw your eye to the centre of the card.

Keep detail to a minimum.
