We're heading toward the holidays and winter wildlife is wandering through the landscape in some parts of the world. This week's cue could take on a few different meanings for you! Let's see what you come up with!
As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:
- One main image
- Lots of open space, uncluttered
- Limited layers & embellishments
- Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)
STAMPlorations is returning as our wonderful sponsor for this challenge and is offering this challenge's winner $25 off their next online order!
This month, you'll want to go see what's on sale in their online store! There is something for everyone!
Let's take a look at what the design team and this week's guest designer created for inspiration!

Lots of white space & a monochromatic color palette work well on a CAS design.
Black, White and Gold never go wrong.
White space doesn't have to be white.
White space doesn't have to be white!
Use a very simple die cut plus a sentiment.
Stamp your background in a very pale color so it doesn't take up as much visual weight.
A white image on coloured background helps draw your eye to the focal point.
Use just 2 colours and focus on a stamp or die to keep things CAS.
Stamp layering helps to keep your card CAS.
Go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the CASology blog by Monday, November 23, at 9:00 a.m. (CST)! **We have returned to two-week challenges until the holidays begin!**
