Week 403: BOTANICAL

Subtle evidence of leaves about to burst out into the landscape is finally appearing for those of us waiting for spring to finally arrive.  All things botanical are on the mind and a gallery filled with this theme seems fitting!

As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:

  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note:  It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)

Let's take a look at what the design team and our guest designer created for inspiration!

Guest Designer:  Elizabeth
design defined:
Simple stamping enhances simplicity.

Three elements clustered in the middle will create a focal point.

Leave lots of white space around large images.

Stamp your sentiment in grey for a softer look.

Use foam adhesive to give dimension to a white on white panel.

design defined:
When using a large image, stamp off the edge so plenty of white space remains.
