Introducing Our New Team Members!

As we begin 2020, we'd like to introduce to you our two newest members of the design team!  These two are familiar faces on the CASology scene and we're pretty sure you'll be just as thrilled as we are to have them creating inspiration for you over the months ahead!  Please give a warm welcome to Deepti Stephens and Sandie Munro!

My name is Deepti Stephens and I’m from India. I am a very crazy and passionate Card Maker, Blogger, YouTuber and Designer. I started my card making journey in 2011 and since then it has been a part of my life. My cards scream clean and simple with a touch of trendy, modern and a kind of whimsical look.

I am honoured to be joining the CASology Design Team. I live in London and my blog is London Days where you will see I am very much a 'Clean and Simple' designer. In fact, I am happiest just using stamps and inks and making one layer cards! I call it 'stamp and go'!
I run the Time Out Challenges where I get to use my love of administration. I don't only like to create. I delight in visiting other crafter's blogs and seeing what an amazing creative community I now feel part of. I have made friends from all over the world through crafting.
I can't wait to see what you will all be creating over the next month as I play along with this talented bunch at CASology.

Welcome to the team, ladies!  We're excited to have you as part of the CASology team and look forward to seeing your designs over the months ahead!

Introducing Milka Gubo!

Happy Monday!  We have more exciting news for you today!  Milka Gubo of Crafty Milka is joining the CASology team!

I’m Milka, a 38 year old crafter/card maker from Croatia. I live in a small lovely town near our capital, in Ivanic-Grad. I live with my partner, my best friend and great life supporter. By profession, I’m a graduate traffic engineer and economist. I have worked as a secretary, accountant, sales person, elementary school teacher of Mathematics, Physics and Technics, but currently do not work anywhere.

I’ve been crafting for as long as I can remember. I love all sorts of crafts: knitting, crocheting, modeling, origami folding etc., but card making is my number one love. When I’m not spending time in my craft room, you’ll find me cooking, gardening, reading, riding a bike or solving Math and Physics problems.

Although I have made cards since I was a kid, mostly for my mom, I fell in love with card making in autumn 2006, recently after I moved from Ivanic to Dubrovnik. I had to stay in bed for weeks due to some health issues at that time. I accidentally ran into a card making challenge on the Internet and discovered a whole new world to me. Stamps, challenges, blogs, card makers from all over the World: I was in love. I’ve started making cards on a daily basis, started my own blog, started playing in challenges, joined some design teams...and now I’m here, joining the CASology Design Team. I didn’t think twice when I was asked to join, as CAS design is my favorite card making design. I’m super happy and looking forward to working with the super talented CASology Design Team.

We're thrilled to have Milka joining the team and think you'll love her clean & simple style!  You can follow her work over on her blog or on her Instagram account.  Go say hello!  Inspiration awaits!

Introducing Nancy Elrick!

We're heading off into the new week and have some exciting news to share with you!  We have a new design team member!  Please give a warm welcome to Nancy Elrick of Nancy's Creative Mess!

My name is Nancy and I am from Calgary Alberta, Canada.  I have been married for 28 years and have two grown sons who still live at home.  I started stamping and card making thanks to my Mom, the queen of all crafts, in 1996.  My first big stamping project was creating my youngest son's birth announcements.  I have embraced a lot of styles in 23 years of crafting but I have found myself being pulled towards the clean and simple for a while now.  When I'm not spending time in my craft room (or at work), you'll find me watching TV, going for walks, reading or out adventuring with my hubby on our motorcycles.  I am super excited to be joining the CASology Design Team!!

We're thrilled to have her joining the CASology team!  Her clean and simple style fits right in and we're sure you're going to find her work inspiring as we continue into the second half of 2019!

You can follow her on her blog or over on her Instagram account.  Please go say hello and then sit back and get ready for her amazing CAS design talent to shine!

Introducing Marcie Sharp!

We have a new, talented designer joining the CASology team!  Please welcome Marcie Sharp of Sharp Designs!

Here is a little about her:

I am so thrilled to be a part of the CASology team! I'm a fun-loving, dance party enthusiast living in rural Southwestern Ontario that fills my time with creativity! My two children keep me busy with their interests and my husband and I enjoy geocaching and watching baseball games with them as a family. I'm an avid reader and lead the book club at our local library. I enjoy creating felt flower creations and spray-painting and adding glitter to anything in our house the family will allow. My cardmaking style adapts to whatever mood I'm in, but I feel most comfortable creating clean, bold designs with pops of colour and sparkle.

We're thrilled to be welcoming her aboard and know you're going to love her design style and inspiration!  She played along with the current SUNBEAM challenge...

Be sure and check out her blog post to see her design in full!  You can also follow her work on Instagram and Pinterest!

Introducing Our New Design Team Members!

We're so excited to introduce three new design team members today!  With over twenty applications coming our way for this design team call, it was a tough decision to make, but we finally narrowed it down!  Thank you to everyone who applied!  We enjoyed looking through all the examples of creative talent that were sent our way!

Please welcome...

OMG! I am on the CASology Design Team! I am so grateful and excited to be a part of the amazing design team. CASology = the art, science and love for making CAS cards, that's what I tell people who ask me about it. I am Bharati Nayudu and I live in Visakhapatnam, a coastal city in India with my 10 yr old son (who loves to craft as well) and my loving husband – my soulmate. I have a talented lil sister who is my best pal and an artist. I am an HR executive by profession and a crafter at heart, committed to spreading handmade happiness. I started blogging and entering online craft challenges in August 2017. Although I am quite new to blogland, thanks to the very encouraging and supportive crafting community, I feel completely at home.  It is as if the mothership found me and now I live in the world of crafts.  :-)  Besides card making, I also enjoy quilling, decoupage art and art journaling. Looking forward to doing my best at CASology.

Oh man, I am so stoked to be part of the CASology team! I've been making cards since 2001. I prefer the clean & simple style, though I do dabble in other styles occasionally. I like making cards that are tailored to their recipients. I'm a very slooooow crafter - ideas take time to percolate and making it work takes even longer! When I'm not crafting, I am reading.

I am so thrilled to join the wonderful CASology team! I am currently living in Moorhead, MN where I am a student at MSUM. I play and coach volleyball and hope to continue coaching in the future. I have been making cards since the summer of 2014. My style has evolved to very CAS but I love venturing into other styles once in a while, too! Fun colors, punny sentiments, and Copic coloring always seem to find a home on my cards.

We think these three are going to knock your socks off with inspiration in the months ahead!  Please give them a warm welcome and, if you have a little time to spare, head on over to their personal blogs and say hello!

Introducing...Anna Uhras!

Please welcome Anna Uhras to the CASology design team!  She will be joining us as a design team member beginning with next week's challenge!

Hi I'm Anna and I'm from a little village in the middle of Sweden. My family of seven, hubby (since 23 years), five kids, (22, 20, 18, 6 and 4 ) and I are living at our farm, where my hubby works, and I work halftime as a hairdresser. I have to admit, I'm addicted to Scrapbooking/Cardmaking and all the pretty papers and supplies around our awesome hobby. As often as I can, I love playing along at CASology, therefore, I'm so happy and honored that Melissa asked me to be a dt-member here. I´m also a member of some other design teams, which is so fun and very developing. My first contact with this hobby was in about 2007, mostly cardmaking. But I think my "real" start was about Fall 2012 when I discovered Scrapbooking with layouts. I mostly do traditional 12x12, but also letter size sometimes. When it comes to cards, my style is mostly CAS but sometimes I do some "all in" cards too. On the other hand, when talking layouts my style is hard to define for me, it depends on what has inspired me at that moment. I love rich and bright colors, layers, white space, thread and even machine stitching is often to be found on my layouts.
I am really looking forward to being a dt member here at lovely CASology and I hope we will have some happy chats both here and over on my blog.  Thank you so much, Melissa, for giving me this opportunity.  I feel so blessed and honored!

We know you're going to love Anna and the clean and simple inspiration she brings to CASology!  She's been a faithful participant in our challenges, so you may already be familiar with her work!

Introducing Janet & Rachel!

Today we're introducing two talented designers who will be joining the CASology design team in 2017, Janet Ribet and Rachel Bergfeld!

Hello, my name is Janet Ribet.  I am so excited to be joining the CASology team as it was through playing in their challenges and their amazing cards that I discovered my love for Clean & Simple design. I am a South African, married to a wonderful Mauritian gentleman, an empty nester of 3 adult children, and live on the small island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean.  I started stamping over 20 years ago but it was when the internet, blogging and on-line challenges took off with the all wonderful sources of inspiration and teaching that I started to hone my style and design. I love playing with different techniques from distressing & watercoloring to layering stamps and resist embossing. So I enjoy the challenge of keeping it CAS while incorporating some kind of technique. Looking forward to sharing my joy of inks, stamp and paper.

Hello! My name is Rachel Bergfeld and I'm a 30-something who started crafting around 20 years ago. It started with some thread and a cross-stitch pattern, but soon morphed into paper and ink. I live in Utah with my husband and five furbabies - 2 dogs and 3 cats. All rescues! I just can't say no to a furry face! When I'm not in my craft room working with paper, I'm settled in with a good book or out exploring our new city with my husband. (We just moved here 2 months ago and I haven't gotten to explore everything just yet!) My style is usually clean and simple, but I occasionally stray into other styles just for fun. I can't live without my Copic markers and cute critter stamps! I'm super excited to have been asked to be a part of such a wonderful design team and I can't wait to start creating!

These two have been regular participants in the CASology challenges and their knack for clean and simple design is going to be a big inspiration to you in the months ahead!  Please give them a warm welcome and get ready for a fantastic 2017 here at CASology!

A Fond Farewell to Ardyth & Tracey!

We're bidding a fond farewell to two of our valued design team members this week!  Ardyth and Tracey will be stepping down from the team as the year comes to a close.

These two have been with CASology from the very beginning and their talent and dedication have been a big part of why CASology has become what it is today!  We're going to miss them a ton!  Please give them a very fond farewell!  You can continue to visit and support them on their personal blogs, Maskerade (Ardyth) and In My Creative Opinion (Tracey)!  We're pretty sure there is even more creative greatness in their futures!

Thank you so much, Ardyth and Tracey, for all the inspiration and support you provided over the last few years!  Best wishes in your creative endeavors in the months ahead!

Tune in Thursday as we introduce the two designers who will be joining us in 2017!

The New CASology Design Team!

We'd like to introduce to you the new CASology design team!  With over twenty-five applicants, we had some tough decisions to make!  We're happy to announce the new CASology design team!

You're seeing some familiar faces as well as not two, but three new ones!  We'd like to introduce to you...

Deidre

Can I just say, “Mind. Blown!” I'm Deidre (last name Payne) and I’m beyond thrilled to join CASology and this fantastic host of card artists. I currently live in Hampton, VA and work as a pharmacy manager. I create at all hours of the day and night, and my doggies (Scribble and Wifi) sit at my feet and make me hop around them to get to all my supplies. Teaching, sharing, collaborating, and meeting new crafters are passions of mine. I started with paper crafts in 2011, dabbling in scrapbooking. The whirlwind of the crafting world snatched me up and I just went with it. I love graphic designs and bright colors; the unexpected; and lots of techniques, but a CAS result. I hope to bring you some sparks of inspiration here at CASology and be inspired by you as well!

I am so excited to be joining the CASology Design Team and working alongside these extremely talented and inspiring card makers. I came to card making through scrapbooking and was immediately hooked when I discovered the online challenge world and blogging. Although I've played with a few different styles, CAS is what I love most. Long ago I worked in the corporate HR world but for the last 18 years I have stayed at home with our daughter (18) and son (17) and been lucky enough to make moves with my husband's career that have taken us from Vancouver to Seattle to paradise.

I am thrilled to join the CASology team in 2016. Since I was a little girl, I’ve been a fan of pretty stationery, colorful paper, and art supplies so it was wonderful to find this hobby of card making and paper crafting 4 years ago. I started making cards out of necessity but once I got messy playing around with stamps and inks I couldn’t stop. I’m from NJ and am blessed with a wonderful husband and three daughters very supportive of my creative outlet. Nothing makes me happier than to see my girls pull out the scrapbooks on their own just to see their photos and read their stories or to put a pretty handmade card in the mail. I am humbled to be amongst this group of creative crafters who have inspired me on many occasions and look forward to spreading the love of all things CAS.

Please give each and every one of them a warm welcome!  We're so excited to have them joining the team and look forward to the inspiration they provide in the months ahead!

Welcome, Ren!

We'd like to introduce a new member of the CASology design team today!  She's been a faithful participant here at CASology and her work is a perfect fit!  Please welcome Ren from Ink a Paper!

Hi everyone, my name is Ren and I live in the sunny island of Singapore with my husband and eight year old son.
I have loved paper crafting since I was young, but only started to take up this hobby more actively late last year when I became a stay-at-home mom.  With that, I started blogging as well to share my creative journey with fellow crafters. I have been so privileged to "meet" and interact with so many like-minded crafters who are ever so generous in sharing their works and designs.
It is indeed a privilege to be part of the CASology team and I can’t wait to be inspired by all fellow crafters and share my craft designs with you!

Please give Ren a warm welcome!  We look forward to having her on the team, inspiring us all each week!
