It's time to announce our Weekly Winner and Honorable Mentions for Week #1! Each design team member has chosen a card and explained why. Be assured that we were all wishing we could choose more than one...even five each would have been a better number! All of you created such fabulous CAS cards this week that our job to pick just one each was not an easy feat! Way to go!

I was amazed at Jenny's creativity in creating this clean & simple
beach scene! The chair was created with two stems from a tree set she
had and the paper pieced sun is absolute fun!

The elements of Amy's card were perfectly stamped, cut and placed so
precisely, along with lots of fresh white space. This stunning card
captured both the warmth and coolness of a sunny day at the beach!
Jen's Choice:

Masking is a technique that I struggle with so I am always in awe of
those who know how to rock it! N@'s card is a stunning of example of
clean, crisp masking. Gorgeous!
What struck me about Lai-Yoke's entry for the challenge was how "out of
the box" she was in creating her card. Her creativity in working with
what she had to create a card to fit the challenge just blew me away!
And it is really cute, too!
Tracey's Choice:
The first things that caught my eye about Rebecca's card was that
stunning sunflower. Just the perfect blend of yellows and brown was
used to create the bloom on this fabulous CAS design!
