Week 54: GOLD

It's time to shine!  You've been refining and polishing your CAS designing skills right along with us here at CASology for just over a year and we still love to visit your blogs each week to see what your creative minds have put together!  It's almost like going on a treasure hunt!  Whether you realize it or not, we're learning from you, our dear challenge participants, and love it when we find ourselves thinking, "Now why didn't I think of that?!"  Keep those CAS designs coming!

In honor of our one-year anniversary here at CASology, one random blog participant this week will receive a little prize package of goodies in the mail!  Just link up your clean and simple GOLD creation and you'll be eligible to win!

Let's take a look at what the design team and this week's guest designer created for inspiration this week!

Guest Designer:  Hannelie

Ribbon is a great way to add the desired color to your design.

Pairing Copic Markers with embossing can create a strong CAS design element.

Maureen

Adding embellishments across your card adds movement and flow to your design.

design defined:
Instead of using foam tape to add dimension, try stacking a few die cuts to give your focal point a solid base.

Melissa

 Remember the Rule of Three.
design defined:
Popping up one image over stamped images adds interest, but still keeps things simple.

Tracey

A few strategically placed sequins can make a big impact on a CAS card.

Ardyth

Constrasting supplies can add interest to a CAS design!

Gillian

Rounding the corners of your card can add interest to a CAS card.

Jen

Repeating an image keeps a CAS card from feeling too busy.

Judy

Off-setting images can help the main image take center stage.

Now go have fun and don't forget to link up your GOLD creation by Sunday at 4:00 p.m. (CDT)!
