Week 64: HARVEST

The crops are showing signs of the season around these parts and soon the farmers will be busy harvesting!  Today is October 1, and that brings to mind so many different things!  October just seems to confirm autumn's arrival!  We're anxious to see what you think of when you hear this week's cue word!

First, let's see what our guest designer and the CASology design team created for inspiration!

Guest Designer:  Gay
 design defined:
With a detailed stamp, it’s not always necessary to colour the details; a multi-coloured ink pad hints at the warm glowing fruit.

Kimberly
design defined:
Stamping a second time without re-inking can create interest and movement on a CAS card

Maureen
design defined:
Stamping images within a small area of a card helps create a focal point and lots of "white" space.

design defined:
Revisit the fabulous technique of embossing with dies to add texture to your clean and simple card.

Melissa
  design defined:
Use varying heights of one image to keep things simple.

Rosemary
design defined:
A simple strip of patterned paper is perfect for a clean and simple card.

Tracey
design defined:
Overlapping your sentiment on your image creates interest without the bulk of additional layers.

Ardyth
design defined:
Layering your stamping adds depth and interest!

design defined:
Try using a coloured card base to accent the colours in your image.

Jen
design defined:
Twine or ribbon in small doses are great accents for CAS cards.

Judy
 design defined:
Using subtle background stamps on your card base can add interest and texture
while still keeping it CAS.

Now go have fun and don't forget to link up your HARVEST creations by Sunday at 4:00 p.m. (CDT)!
