Week 65: CRISP

Here in the U.S., autumn seems to be here to stay and, with it, certain words come to mind!  One of them is CRISP!  Interpret it however you'd like to because you'll soon see that the design team came up with many creative twists to this one!

We have a wonderful sponsor returning this week!

Be sure and go take a look at their fantastic stamps, dies and more in the online store because our winner this week will receive a £15 Gift Certificate!

Also, there is a new release coming up, so be sure and visit their blog to keep up on the latest happenings!

Now let's take a look at how our guest designer and design team members interpreted this week's cue word!

Guest Designer:  Valerie
design defined:
Limiting the layers and keeping the design and embellishments simple keeps things CAS.

design defined:
Stretch your stash by combining sentiments from different sets.

Meghan
design defined:
Use those journaling card papers in your favourite paper pad instead of a sentiment.

Melissa
  design defined:
White is a great color for a CAS card!
design defined:
A simple stamped border can add interest to a CAS design.

Tracey
design defined:
A large focal image with several smaller images adds interest but not clutter.

Ardyth
design defined:
There's room for patterned paper in a CAS design!

Gillian
design defined:
Masking off an area allows you to add as much detail as you wish while keeping the rest of the card CAS.

Jen
design defined:
Pop up some images to create depth.

Judy
 design defined:
Using multiple distress inks and misting with water can add texture and interest to your images.

Kimberly
design defined:
Sentiments are not always necessary for a CAS card.

Now go have fun and don't forget to link up your CRISP creations by Sunday at 4:00 p.m. (CDT)!
