Week 127: LIGHT

Time to shine some light on the fact that 2014 is coming to a close and 2015 is rounding the corner to greet us!  We're going to make this challenge a two-week one to allow everyone extra time to play!  We know the holidays are a very busy time for most!

We're welcoming back Add a Little Dazzle as our sponsor for this challenge and the lucky winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to the store!

Let's get this challenge going and take a look at what the design team and this week's guest designer came up with for fresh inspiration!

Guest DesignerShona

Use the inside of the card to create more interest without adding more layers.

design defined:
One layer, two stamps, two colours (and lots of white space) - it's all you need!

design defined:
Keep a detailed image to a small section of your card.

Jen

Neutrals with a pop of colour provide a perfect palette for CAS designs.

 Joyce
 design defined:
Keep your design to 1/3 of the card.

Judy

Masking and inking areas of your one-layer card add dimension and depth.

Kimberly

Clear gloss medium can add dimension to your card.

May
design defined:
Use a small image to create a frame border.

Meghan
design defined:
Use a marker to create a subtle grounding for a focal image on a clean and simple card.

 design defined:
A black & white color scheme is great for CAS design!

An all die cut card works well in CAS design.

Now go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the challenge blog by Monday (January 5) at NOON (CST)!
