Week 163: MOON

Time to aim for the moon!  Or not.  This week's cue word should be a fun one!

STAMPlorations is returning as our wonderful sponsor and is offering our winner either a $10 gift certificate to the online store OR 2 ARTploration stencils of their coice!  Once again, all our participants can receive a 10% off discount on any orders placed during this week's challenge using code CASOLOGY!  Have you seen their newest stamps?  Just in case you're a coffee lover, there are two new coffee themed sets you might want to go see!

Also, every Wednesday until October 7, STAMPlorations is doing special stamp release mini hops on their blog & giving away stamps for those who hop along!

Now let's take a look at what the design team and this week's guest designer created for inspiration!

Guest Designer: Sarah

Heat embossing can add impact to a focal image.

Ardyth

Black and white is a classic CAS colour scheme!

Hannelie
design defined:
Add dimension and a splash of color to make your design pop.

design defined:
'White' space doesn't have to be white, but keep it 'clean' to be CAS.

Jen
design defined:
Pop up certain elements to add dimension and interest your CAS design.

Joyce
design defined:
Use masking to create depth behind your images.

Judy
design defined:
Black and white with one extra color can be a fun CAS technique.

Bold images will work on a CAS card, but ensure you have a well balanced design and minimal color palette.

Kymona

design defined:
You can use patterned paper on your card & still keep it CAS.

Melissa
design defined:
Popping up your main panel adds simple dimension.

Tracey
design defined:
Use patterned paper in small doses to keep your design CAS.

Go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the challenge blog by Monday at NOON (CDT)!
