Week 173: PRETTY

Time to think pretty!  A pretty fun cue word, no?!  Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so go ahead and think outside the box if you want to!

Uniko Studio is returning as our wonderful sponsor and this week's winner will receive a £15 eGift Certificate to the online store!  Have you seen the fantastic November release yet?!  If you haven't, go take a look here!  Brand new Christmas and coffee stamps are in the store!

Let's take a look at what the design team and this week's guest designer created for inspiration!

Guest Designer:  Claire
design defined:
Matting images against black card stock really makes them 'pop.'

 Ardyth

design defined:
Interactive cards can be CAS, too!

design defined:
Use a sentiment stamp to create a background for your CAS focal point.

design defined:
Small amounts of patterned paper can be CAS.

Jen
design defined:
Grouping your image and sentiment together in one area keeps your design clean.

Joyce
design defined:
Concentrate your stamping in one small portion of the card.

Judy
design defined:
Popping up your sentiment adds depth to  a CAS card.

Kimberly
design defined:
Lots of white space, a limited color palette and minimal embellishments will make a CAS card!

Melissa
design defined:
White on white with a pop of color is a great way to keep things simple on a CAS design!

Ren
design defined:
Sometimes CAS white space need not necessarily be all white.

Tracey
design defined:
Give a small image dimension by popping it up with foam tape.
