Let's take a look at what the design team and this week's guest designer created for inspiration!

Guest Designer:  Natalia
 design defined:
Black & white graphics with lots of white space work well on a CAS design.

Ardyth
design defined:
Leaving outline images uncoloured helps keep your design CAS.

Deidre
design defined:
A clear frame can showcase the outside and inside of a CAS design.

Hannelie
design defined:
A clear element shows a busy pattern on the inside of the card and therefore helps to keep the design CAS.

Hazel
 design defined:
A repeated motif in one colour can be CAS when restricted to a third of your card.

Jacquie
design defined:
Lots of white space & the sentiment stamped inside the card keeps the design CAS.

Jen
design defined:
Use a coloured sentiment to balance your design.

Joyce
design defined:
Use layers of mats to give a small focal point more weight.

Judy
design defined:
Let pops of patterned paper add interest amid lots of white space!

Kymona
 design defined:
Using contrasting colors draws the eyes to the focal point!

Melissa
 design defined:
Open space is an important part of CAS design!

Sherrie
design defined:
Embossing on a portion of a clear card base preserves the open space and adds interest.

  2. I am loving your cue words this year. They are taking such a creative direction and so inspiring. I loved the DT cards this week especially as some I had no idea how they got 'clear' from their creations and then after reading their blogs was so inspired by their creativity. Sorry for going on but wanted to let you know how much I am admiring theses words. I hope time allows me to play x
