Week 182: ADORE

Simply put, we adore you.  February begins next week and we figured we could all use a little adoration in the gallery to get the month started off right!

Concord & 9th is returning as our wonderful sponsor and this week's winner will receive the fantastic Tree Hugs stamp set!

Tree Hugs

Have you seen all the stamp/die bundles on sale in the store?  If not, you need to go check them out!

Angie created a card to go along with this week's cue word!

I "adore" watercoloring, this color combo (which works for women & men) and our Tree Hugs stamp set. It's fun to use to build different sized birch trees, or just use the heart and the different sentiments that fit inside the heart. We are excited to be giving one away to the lucky winner!

Let's take a look at what the design team and this week's guest designer created for inspiration!

Guest Designer:  Jenny

Framing your main image helps to keep it the focal point of the design.

Inlaying die cuts keeps your card flat and CAS.

Deidre

A neutral palette with pops of color helps keep it CAS.

Hannelie
i find you adoryble
design defined:
A restricted color palette keeps a design CAS.

Hazel
design defined:
'White' space doesn't have to be white to be CAS.

Jacquie
design defined:
One layer and a strong focal point with lots of white space keep this design CAS.

Jen
design defined:
Keep your design to one third of the card for a clean and balanced card.

Joyce
design defined:
Create drama in a CAS card with the negative die cut space.

Judy
design defined:
One main image, one main sentiment, open space, limited embellishments...definitely CAS.

Kymona
design defined:
Adding a small section of pattern paper to one side of the card front creates a CAS card!

Melissa
 design defined:
Creating a little movement is a great way to add interest to a CAS design.

Sherrie
design defined:
Keep your scene simple and the focal point by heat embossing in black.

Go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the challenge blog by Monday at NOON (CST)!
