Week 201: SUNSHINE

It's guaranteed to be sunny this week!  Just take a look at the cue word and you can't help but smile, can you?!

We're welcoming a brand new sponsor too!  You're going to love Rubber Dance Stamps!

Rubber Dance is an independent rubber stamp company in Norway, owned by Bibi Lindahl who's been making stamps since 1999. Bibi's stamps are mostly of the weird and artsy style, but you'll also find many nature stamps as well as funny and uplifting sentiments. The two active Rubber Dance blogs are filled with artwork and tutorials by Bibi and her talented Design Team, and they also run a challenge every 1st of the month.

This week's winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to the online store!  Also, during this week's challenge, all our CASology participants will receive FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING by using code CAS-62016!  What are you waiting for?!  Go take a look around in the store!

Let's take a look at what the Bibi from Rubber Dance, the design team and this week's guest designer created for inspiration!

Elements at an angle add interest while keeping it simple.

Ardyth

Image over sentiment is a classic, CAS layout!

Deidre

Even layers can be CAS if you leave white space and use odd numbers.

Hannelie
you are my sunshine
design defined:
Simple lines create CAS designs.

Hazel
design defined:
Confining your design to one-third of the card keeps things CAS.

Jacquie
design defined:
Layering the sentiment over an image leaves plenty of white space, keeping the design CAS.

Jen

design defined:
Mix & match words to create custom sentiments.

Joyce
design defined:
Use white die cuts on white to create texture and interest and still keep things CAS.

Judy
design defined:
Stamps and dies can be combined in CAS designs.

Kymona
design defined:
All a CAS card needs at times is a pop of color!

Melissa
 design defined:
Use your main image to ground your sentiment.

Sherrie
design defined:
Aligning design elements together horizontally preserves white space.

Tracey
design defined:
Keep colours to a minimum and don't forget your white space in CAS design.

Go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the challenge blog by Monday at NOON (CDT)!
