Week 240: FOLIAGE

Are you ready for a new cue word?  This week's word is sure to bring a touch of nature to the gallery!

As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:
  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)
Remember, you can link up to your blog, Instagram account or any other online gallery you may have!

Let's take a look at what the talented design team and this week's guest designer created for inspiration!

Guest Designer:  Anna
 design defined:
A monochromatic color scheme & simple focal sentiment keeps things CAS.

Deidre

Sponging allows some translucency to keep the card light and airy.

Hannelie
design defined:
Playing around with the scale of your focal point creates interest.

Hazel
design defined:
Framing helps 'contain' images and preserves white space.

Jacquie
design defined:
White space doesn't have to be white.

Janet
design defined:
Layering with small matting keeps things CAS.

Jen
design defined:
Using black, white and one colour keeps a design clean and simple.

Joyce
design defined:
Change things up by using unusual or unrealistic colors.

design defined:
Let patterned paper color your die cut images!

Kymona

Coloring the die cuts adds color and keeps your card CAS!

Melissa
