Week 332: FURBABY

It's time to honor those furry ones that enrich our lives and give us joy!  Maybe you don't actually own a pet, but maybe you wish you did?  Maybe you simply have a favorite furry animal?  Let's see how you use this week's cue to create some "awww" inducing designs!

As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:
  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)

STAMPlorations is returning as our wonderful sponsor and is offering this challenge's winner $25 off their next online order!  Be sure and check out their TWO sales happening right now for extra savings!

Let's see what the design team and this week's guest designer created for inspiration!

Guest Designer:  Lindsey
design defined:
One layer, one colour, one image, one sentiment, lots of white space - classic CAS.

design defined:
Use only half of the card for maximizing white space

design defined:
Fussy cut and use foam to pop up details from an image for dimension.

design defined:
Use a partial image to create interest on your design.

design defined:
Using only a few colours on your colouring keeps things CAS.

Jen
design defined:
A simple strip of cardstock adds colour and grounds an image.

design defined:
Ground your images with your sentiment.

Karen
design defined:
White space doesn't need to be white.

Melissa
design defined:
Frame your main image and keep elements together to preserve white space.

Rachel
design defined:
Ground your image with a bit of grass to keep it from "floating."

Sue
design defined:
Die cuts can help your CAS design come to life.

Go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the CASology blog by Monday, February 25, at 9:00 a.m. (CST)!
