Week 359: REPEAT

A new year is here and here we are back in January again!  How about repeating something on our card designs this time around?  You're welcome to repeat a past CASology challenge cue or create anything that comes to mind related to this word!

As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:
  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)

Let's see what the design team and our guest designer did with it!

Guest Designer:  Claire
design defined:
A black, die cut silhouette works well against a busy, stamped background on a CAS card.

Deepti
design defined:
A little water color touch adds so much interest & depth to a card design.

design defined:
Black & white with a pop of color is always CAS!

design defined:
Confine your design to one third of the card front.

Jen
design defined:
Use your sentiment to create a repeating pattern.

Joyce
design defined:
Create a focal point with repeating images.

Karen
design defined:
Stamping your images close together gives a feel of a one image.

Melissa
design defined:
Use stencils to add interest to simple pops of color.

design defined:
An otherwise busy background can work in CAS design by using white on white & a very simple pop of color.

design defined:
Repeating a simple image creates a great focal point.

design defined:
Sometimes all you need is a sentiment, texture, bold colors & a few embellishments and keep plenty of white space.

Sue
design defined:
One layer helps to keep CAS.

Go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the CASology blog by Monday, January 20, at 9:00 a.m. (CST)!
