Helpful Hints

Keep these things in mind when creating a CAS design:

1.  One main image
2.  Lots of open space (uncluttered)
3.  Limited layers & embellishments
4.  Quick & easy to recreate

  1. Mr. Linky seems cranky, wants my image posted 3 times before he accepts it. This is normal?

    1. That doesn't seem like Mr. Linky at all! :) I wonder if anyone else is having this issue?! I see someone has linked up after you, so hopefully it was just a glitch!

  2. Hi, I have just posted my first ever entry on your site but have been really inspired by all the projects I have seen, both from the DT and from all the competitors. I looked at everything!! One thing I was wondering, being a CAS novice, most of the DT and entries to the challenge have words. It's not in your hints. Is that part of CAS or is it just a personal thing. I like to leave things open to interpretation where appropriate so my entry is mute. All those folk struck dumb by the CASness we hope. Anyway, I look forward to being further enlightened on CAS protocol. Thanks for a great blog

  3. Hi, I'm having trouble adding your badge to my blog. What do I need to do? Thanks.

    1. Usually, you can just right click on the badge image in the sidebar and select "Copy Image Location". Then, once you are back in your own blog, go into the Layout and add an Image gadget. Paste what you copied into the box that says Image from the web and hit Enter. The image should load and you should then be able to save it. Let me know if you have anymore trouble! Feel free to email me at gimmeink@gmail.com! :)
