Week 275: SHARP

It's time to look sharp this week in the gallery!  Clean & simple is the game!

As always, remember the following CAS guidelines when creating your design:
  1. One main image
  2. Lots of open space, uncluttered
  3. Limited layers & embellishments
  4. Quick & easy to recreate (Note: It may take a while to create a design you like, but once you have that design, making more should be a piece of cake!)

Let's see what the design team has created for inspiration!

Anna
design defined:
Use a stencil to add a feeling of dimension without adding layers.

Deidre
design defined:
Dark focal images against lighter, brighter backgrounds provide great contrast.

Jacquie
design defined:
Multiple layers of a die cut add dimension to a CAS design.

Janet
design defined:
Offsetting images and placing the sentiment within the image keeps things CAS.

Jen
design defined:
Large images and a limited colour palette keep things CAS.

Joyce
design defined:
Cluster your elements together to preserve white space.

Judy
design defined:
Adding stitched details can add interest to white space.

Melissa
design defined:
Using decorative paper with a subtle pattern can add interest without overpowering a design.

Rachel
design defined:
Use a stencil to keep your background inking contained.

Sherrie
design defined:
Use a rainbow of colors in small doses.

Go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the challenge blog by Monday at NOON (CST)!

  2. Awesome cards for inspiration. Love how sometimes the colour becomes the area of focus and sometimes, it's the white on white image. :)
