Here are the Honorable Mentions chosen by the rest of the design team:
Judy's Choice: Rosemary's sweet little wooden houses paired with the wood-texture partial embossing made this design a CAS winner in my book!
Meghan's Choice: Skye's sweet little clean and simple scene is perfectly grounded with the grass and her sentiment!
Joyce's Choice: I just love the brown, woodgrain 'white space' surrounding Laura's perfectly sweet, paper pieced focal point.
Melissa's Choice: Michele's selective use of color expertly preserved white space and the humor in her design made me laugh!
Jen's Choice - I love Kymona's bright and cheery take on the cue word! The watercolors on the woodgrain give great texture to the design.
Gillian's Choice: By only using a strip of colourful tape, Cecilia has managed to add interest and colour to her otherwise CAS card.
Tracey's Choice: Lynn's
upcycled letterpress panels make such a perfect card to thank a long
term employee for years of service. The three wraps of rustic twine add
to the scene.
Ardyth's Choice: White embossing leaves Pam's card feeling very clean. The hand stitching adds the perfect amount of visual interest!
Kimberly's Choice: I thought that Shelly's
card was un"bee"lieveably cute. Clustering the images together and
minimal embellishments, with a non overpowering wood strip, left me
loving this CAS design!
