Week 102: FLOAT

What floats your CASology boat?  We're going to find out with this week's cue word!  Whether this word makes you think of water, air or something entirely different, let's see where it takes you!

Cindy Coutts is returning as our sponsor and our lucky winner this week will win Avery Elle's Thanks a Bunch clear stamp set!  *Please note that winners outside the USA will need to pay for international postage.

Thanks A Bunch Clear Stamps

Let's take a look at what the design team and our guest designers created for inspiration!

Guest Designer:  Kylie
  design defined:
Keeping everything very neutral and confined to a space really allows your card to be CAS. Adding a pop of colour creates interest and draws the eye straight to your focal image.

 Guest Designer:  Lindsey
 design defined:
Simple techniques -- mirror stamping, watercolouring -- can have a big impact on a CAS card.

Jen

design defined:
Patterns on the edge of your card can add interest without clutter.

Joyce
design defined:
One main image, lots of white space, minimal layers and embellishments--classic CAS.

Judy
design defined:
One main image with minimal embellishments can still convey your message!

Kimberly
design defined:
1 layer + 1 sentiment + 1 image = CAS

May
design defined:
Plenty of white space helps you create a clean and simple card.

Melissa
 design defined:
Cluster all elements in one area to keep a design feeling clean.

Tracey
design defined:
Tiny images can frame and support a small image.
design defined:
1 layer + 1 sentiment + 1 image = CAS

Gillian
design defined:
A coloured border can help lift colours on a delicate card.

Now go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the challenge blog by Monday at NOON (CDT)!
